The Department of Homeland Security released a list of several Afghan nationals accused of security issues in the United States, highlighting concerns about dangerous Afghan migrants who entered the country during the Biden administration.

“Tens of thousands of unvetted Afghan aliens have hurt and terrorized Americans after the Biden administration flooded our communities with criminals, terrorists, and other threats,” DHS posted on X over the weekend. “These are just a few of the criminals who have rewarded American generosity with violence,” the agency added while sharing several examples.

Among those named was Bahrullah Noori, an Afghan evacuee arrested at Fort McCoy in Wisconsin and charged with attempting to engage in a sexual act with a minor. According to a 2021 indictment, Noori sexually assaulted more than one minor at Fort McCoy. He was charged with one count of attempting to engage in a sexual act with a minor using force and three counts of engaging in a sexual act with a minor, with one of those counts alleging the use of force, according to WISN. The indictment stated that the victims were under 16 years old.

The incident also included Mohammad Haroon Imadd, who was charged with assaulting his spouse. The criminal complaint said the victim claimed Imadd "threatened to send her back to Afghanistan where the Taliban could deal with her." Both men were arrested by the US Marshal Service.

Another individual highlighted was Jamal Wali, an Afghan national who entered the country through Operation Allies Welcome. Wali shot and wounded two police officers in Fairfax, Virginia, during a routine traffic stop. He was killed by return fire and allegedly declared, “I should have served with the f***ing Taliban!”

The issue of Afghan refugees has moved to the center of the immigration debate following the shooting of two National Guardsmen in Washington, DC, last week. The attack was carried out by an Afghan national, Rahmanullah Lakanwal, who entered the country under the Biden administration. In response, the Trump administration announced it would conduct a broad review of all refugees who entered the United States under the previous administration.

“We must now re-examine every single alien who has entered our country from Afghanistan under Biden,” Trump said in a Wednesday address.
